Automation of Super Color Heidelberg
News: Heidelberg Super Color is certainly the most professional tool for checking and adjusting colors in PDF documents. The only snag has been that the functions of Super Color could not be fully automated. While it is on the stack sequences in Acrobat possible to multiple PDF files in a "slip" manner, a hot folder-based processing, however, was not possible.

This has (almost unnoticed) recently been changed. Callas software, the company had already announced that they have also super-Color support. The timing, however, was long unknown, as is also from Heidelberg needed some adjustments. Faster than expected, this functionality is now available and is already successfully used by several customers.

AutoPilot for Acrobat
AutoPilot for Acrobat is a plug-in (currently for Acrobat 5, an adaptation of Acrobat 6 is planned for early 2004), which consists of a full Acrobat, hotfolderbased "machine" makes the incoming PDFs processed without user intervention. The autopilot supports a number of other plug-ins, bringing many of the tasks of PDF verification, correction, color matching, trapping to the output as EPS, PS or PDF automate. Recently, the list of supported plug-ins, Super Color Heidelberg also been introduced. You need only the current versions of both tools (Super Color version 1.0.50 and Autopilot 1.4.035).
