basICColor server
Your printer cares, you should not! Every printer needs different CMYK values – let basICColor handle that! You have a color printer without built in color management? You have several color printers with different CMMs? You need an automated color management workflow?
basICColor server lets you color correct any document through ICC profiles. You can define individual settings for different output devices. That ensures color consistency throughout your workflow. basICColor server can be setup to work with hotfolders or virtual printers. It processes TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PostScript and PDF (even X3) and exports the corrected data to an output folder or prints directly to your printer. You can assign any number of queues to one proofer e.g. to simulate different printing processes – without changing any settings in the RIP.
All queues can be monitored remotely with a web browser. All operating condition will be reported via simple graphic symbols and colors: blue = inactive, yellow = waiting, green = working, red = error. So you can control your color workflow any time, any place!
Features:
- Software for automating ICC workflows
- Any number of printing queues with individual settings
- Processing through hotfolders or virtual printers
- Web browser based status inquiry
- Individual color space transformation for pixel and vector data
- Uses embedded or default profiles
- Embed output device profiles
- Supports all color models, RGB,CMYK, gray and Lab
- Supports TIFF, JPEG, ScitexCT, PNG, BMP, EPS, PS, PDF including PDF/ X3
- Spot color conversions, Pantone libraries included
- Embedding of control strips in PS files
- Last minute gradation corrections in the server
- 8 and 16 bits data processing
