iCPrint adds a new dimension to intelligent press control by providing automated feedback to help keep your press run stable and within tolerance. The system displays recommendations on how to adjust the press to achieve the closest color to a given OK or reference sheet. The result – less press down-time. You increase throughput, reduce waste and provide documentation that verifies the color quality of each job.
Scan color bars and measure spot colors in the image too
- Spectral-based readings – Calculates spectral as well as densitometric values for CMYK and spot colors.
- Zone-oriented output – Displays information in detail over the whole sheet to show operator which ink keys should be adjusted.
- Adjustment recommendations – Shows deviations and tells operator how to correct ink keys for best results.
- Color bar scanning – Fast and “wide” analysis of the sheet captures all essential readings in one scan.
- Automated x/y capability – Automatically measures and scans the whole sheet in two dimensions. Single spots or color bars can be measured anywhere on the sheet.
