Frequently it is neccessary to adopt separated data for other printing methods, e.g. if you like to proof. If you use standard ICC-tools for doing the required color transformations you loose all informations on the original separations. The reason is that during the transformation process the 3-channel Lab-color space is used. This means 4-channel information are translated to 3-channel information and afterwards a completely new 4-channel separation is created.
Usind our CrossXColor DeviceLinker allows you to do color transformation within the ICC standard and respect to existing separations. In addition, you have the possibility to decide which options you like to offer in your solution.
With CrossXColor DeviceLinker you may keep separations, save ink or handle a variety of different exceptions, such as pure colors.
