PitStop is a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat which PDF-Preflight, PDF editing and automatic correction of PDF files unites in a package. Preflight - examination of PDF documents
PitStop offers very far-reaching Preflight possibilities with the examination of PDF documents. They can generate so-called PDF profiles which check PDF files on certain intended purposes and list all problem places in a report. A link leads you immediately to the suitable problem places in the checked PDF document and indicates you all occurence of the found problem places visually also immediately. Most found problems can be corrected optionally also in the same working step (provided that this makes sense and welcome).
For the check of PDF documents concerning certain norms or intended purposes PitStop already offers profiles for PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3, Ghent to PDF workgroup profiles as well as for certain printing methods or purposes which can be adapted of course still individually in the standard scope of supply.
PDF files edit
The extensive interactive Editiermöglichkeiten of PitStop allow the specific treatment and the change of all PDF objects, like graphics, to sign ways, frames, line strengths, text or also from pictures.
