SilverFast Topaz Ai IT8 Studio Heidelberg Topaz + HDR Studio

The Topaz-Softwarepackage includes an Ai Studio with IT8-Calibration, a HDR Studio Version, a 4x5" transmitted light- and a 5x7" Supervisioncalibration template, the book "SilverFast®: The Official Guide" and the SilverFast-manual.
The award-winning Scansoftware SilverFast from LaserSoft Imaging, Kiel, is now available for Heidelberg TOPAZ Scanner & Macintosh OS-X TIGER.
SilverFast Ai STUDIO for the TOPAZ Scanner allows to write the full dynamic range of the Hardware into the TIFF-Data. This makes the disadvantageous conversion 24 bit RGB obsolete. The ability to save these 'raw' files and processing with SilverFast HDR STUDIO without any loss of quality opens up a whole new workflow.

SilverFast Ai STUDIO for Heidelberg TOPAZ scanner is able to write TIFF files with the full dynamic range. It is no longer necessary to convert to 24 Bit RGB. These files allow a maximum quality and productivity for a dedicated workflow. You can use these scans like a „digital original“ from your scanner and even apply a JPEG 2000 compression.
SilverFast HDR STUDIO reads those RAW files and allows the user to optimize the pictures offline like originals on the scanner without any loss of quality. While the scanner is working the user can optimize pictures on another workstation in batch mode. Of course any well known SilverFast tool is available, for e.g. NegaFix including over 120 film profiles and the ability to create fast and easy customized ones. Even with JPEG 2000 compression SilverFast will work those files 7 times faster as any other imaging software. With the HiRepp function you will be able to compress without a loss in quality up to 3GB files and reopen these files very fast again. The Heidelberg TOPAZ can be used on any OSX System up to tiger and even on a G5 with an aftermarket adapter on FireWire 400. Among the various highlights you will find our IT-8 calibration with color correction (up to 12 colors), Plug&Play CMYK, batch mode, Jobmanager and the professional multiple densitometers.
Additional Option at extra charge: A Softproof will be enabled by PhotoProof as an Add-On and printing with a Layout Funktion is done by the integrated PrinTao. The Combination of SilverFast Ai STUDIO and SilverFast HDR STUDIO grants you a perfectly adjusted Workflow.
