Ugra / Fogra media wedge CMYK 2.0
The Ugra / FOGRA Media Wedge CMYK V2.0 is intended for the verification of digital test pressure.
It can also be used as a digital control means, to observe the effect of an image processing in CMYK mode and other prepress work. On the adoption of color-accurate proofs basically always the recommendations of media standards must be observed pressure.
Basically, today is a test pressure shall not be considered as binding, for example, if an Ugra / FOGRA Media Wedge CMYK on the test pressure is present, while the designated CIELAB values within the tolerances are met. The CMYK tone values of the Ugra / FOGRA CMYK version 2.0 are based on those of the international standard ISO 12642.
The target values are based on the characterization of important tables pressure conditions (see www.fogra.org), as they are listed in the family of standards ISO 12647.

Note: The measuring aperture diameter of the color measuring device used must be about 1 mm smaller than the field size!
Both layouts include versions that are suitable (www.fogra.org current list below) for the automatic analysis with a variety of measurement systems; hyphens between the color fields will facilitate the automatic detection

Note: The Print Media Standard empfi recommend reading the TIFF version, because this data format can be fully compatible with ICC based color management systems.
The EPS version is only needed if the entire work flow should be checked for correct color reproduction. It must, however, ensures that the color management system can add profiles to EPS files.
The package is in addition to a manual, a reference file (MkPruef.xls) included with the L * a * b * aim values.
