Datacolor 3890
Non-new
Spectrophotometer
The DC 3890 is a spectrophotometer for color data acquisition using reflectance measurement. The device was developed especially for use in the pigment and paint industry, it can be labeled in accordance with established standards, as well as applied to DIN and ISO.
The DC 3890 is equipped with a built-in and disengageable gloss trap.
Measuring principle
For each measurement, the sample of 16 measured values in the range of visible radiation (400 to 700 nanometers) compared to a reference surface in the sphere photometer. A double-beam monochromator with two holographic gratings and two diode arrays with selectively paired photodiodes ensures high accuracy and repeatability. The microprocessor-controlled evaluation unit controls the collection and processing of measurement data.
The measured reflectance readings and other data are passed via the communication interface to the overall system.
Function
The sample forces the rest of the sample suspension damping orifice. In this case, the sample can be viewed via a mirror system and aligned when needed.
Interchangeable metering orifices and the continuously adjustable optics allow the user to optimally adapt the measuring spot on the specimen.
The sample is of two pulsed xenon flash lamp with a diffusely illuminated sphere photometer and directed by eight degrees measured.
With the built-in calibration allows the ultraviolet radiation components of the flash lamps filter out below 395 nanometers.
The addition to the built-in UV calibration pair flip filter suppresses the radiation components below 460 nanometers.
