FireWire Kit Support - How to solve Problems?
1.) start FR1Utility (latest Version)
2.) If utility is actually running in „disabled“ mode (see image on the right), please press „Enable FR1 Utility“, enter your password an do a systen retsart. Otherwise go to 3.
3.) In the started FR1Utility running in „enabled“ mode please set configuartion as shown in image on the right, in comparison to the original configuration there is only one switch to alter marked in red. After verifying the configuration settings please press „Start Configuration setting".
4.) Now press „Disable FR1 Utility“ in order to disable the utility, therefore please enter your password an do a system reset. When done your scanner should work well with SilverFast. Do not start the utility again and don't set to "enabled" as long as there occur no problems.
