Input: 24-32 VDC @ 1,25A
Output: 1800 VDC @ 6,5 MA
Laser Module
The Laser Module provides the system with the proper laser
output beam to expose all the specified media types. The
Laser Module consists of a cast mount which holds the laser
head, laser power supply, and a shutter solenoid. The Laser
Module is a field replaceable unit, which may require a
system level exposure adjustment and an adjustment of the
Corner Cube to correct output beam position. The module
attaches directly to the engine base, located by two dowel
pins and three machined pads.
Laser Head The laser head is a helium-neon gas laser operating at a 633
nanometer wavelength (red sensitive), which can output
approximately 5 milliwatts of power. The laser head is
clamped by two leaf springs in a V-shaped channel in the
casting. Polarization of the laser is nominally vertical and is
controlled by the orientation of the power cord.
NOTE Due to the tight alignment tolerances, the laser
head, separately, is not field replaceable. The
complete laser module must be replaced.
Laser Shuter The laser shutter is a rotary solenoid and vane attached to
the laser mount. When energized, the shutter rotates about
25 degrees, causing the vane to unblock the beam. The
shutter is designed for 100% duty cycle. The shutter can be
replaced separately in the field, requiring no adjustments.
Laser Power Supply The laser power supply is a high voltage (10KV) supply,
providing the power to excite the laser head. The laser power
supply requires 24 volts as input power. The 24 volts to the
power supply has a safety interlock switch to disable the
laser from turning on, in case of customer access inside the
drum area. The switch is located on the end of the frame and
is deactivated when the side door is opened (customer
accessible side). The laser power supply is also a field
replaceable unit, which may require a system level exposure
adjustment after replacement.

Please only contact us via our registration form and only if you are a business person yourself.
We do not have an online shop. In order to avoid spam-mail, we had to introduce an established validation system.
This might be a little bit more work for you but it guarantees that we are able to supply you with an offer as quick and safe as possible.
As a basic principle, we do not make offers on the phone. As we receive more than 100 offers a day, we have up to 11 employees working making offers by mail.
To make it clear, you will not get offers generated by a system, but by our employees.
Offers for high-prized products take a little longer because they have to be approved by our managing director.
If the stoplight is red, we do not have the product on stock anymore, but we wish to purchase it.
If you fill out the registration form for this product, we will inform you as soon as the product or a similar product is available again.
