Switch positions in Normalbetireb:
First Back: The switch 102 must be in position 0!
Second Front: The rotary switch must be set to 6 for Phase 2 Ethertalk undloder TCPIIP.
How do I format the hard disk RIP?
First RIP 50 off
Second Switch to provide F
Third RIP 50 switch
4th When "FOR" will flash, I switch to 0
5th 1 Press x STOP
6th ... Wait 20 minutes
7th SEL is displayed
8th STOP button and turn on RIP OFF
How do I install the software again?
First RIP 50 off
Second Switch to put C
Third Insert a floppy disk in drive
4th RIP 50 switch
5th The software is updated. After transmitting the first disc on the RIP and SEL is displayed blinking.
Now insert the next disk and press the STOP button
... Repeat this step for all disks perform.
6th Switch to 6 set.
7th STOP button
What is particularly important when the LTC 630?
First Material must be defined with 427mm width.
This is the Linotype utility.
Second The punch must be turned on.
Third The calibration values must be entered in the Utility.
4th After each change should be a backup over the Linotype Utility 8.3 are made.
