Accurate plate mounting, achieving perfect register, is an essential
requirement enabling a printer to produce high quality products
and increased press productivity
500 ELS - Presses with web widths up to 457mm / 18"
High powered video cameras (45x magnification) with
fixed focal lengths mounted on ultra high precision
linear bearings. Cameras open and close to cater for
different plate widths and move up and down on linear
bearings for the full repeat range. No telescopic lenses
are used ensuring total parallelism between print
cylinder and cameras.
Twin channel image generator creating a split in the 12
inch, high contrast video monitor and projecting 2
crosses in each side of the screen for easy mounting
reference.
Through-the-lens illumination system projecting 7mm
wide light circles on to the cylinder for easier prepositioning
and for improved register mark visibility.
Fully adjustable left hand side cylinder support allowing
the machine to easily and quickly cater for different
widths of cylinder.
Pneumatic operation to print cylinder supports for quick
and safe cylinder loading, repeatable alignment and
sidelay accuracy.
Circumferential locking device to prevent cylinder
rotation when plate mounting.
Morse taper shafts with precision, quick change plug
adaptors allowing the machine to support any
