The comstar infrared motion detector is used for monitoring interior spaces. It detects infrared heat rays in the wavelength range emitted by the human body via its optical mirrors.
The TRAP technology (Threshold Regulated Algorithm with Power management) offers excellent protection against false alarms and outstanding detection characteristics. Alarm criteria can be distinguished very effectively from interference signals. At the same time, the energy consumption is reduced to a minimum.
The attractive housing was designed by Luigi Colani.
